Why Shuka Brahma Entered?
Everyone is effected by Kali, it
is not only the Parikshit Maharaju. Every life is affected. so is there any
relief from it. who is going to give the information on the relief so that the
effect of kali is not going to be there. In the Kali Yuga, the concentration on
the God will not be there.
so how to get that concentration
and with this power of concentration, how to overcome the effects
of Kali.
This can be told by a person who
has the ability. This ability is in Shukha Brahma. That’s why the
entrance of Shuka Brahma.
Why Pariksht is worried?
He is not worried Because of he
is going to dead by a Snake bite but he is worried because he is born in a
great family of Pandavas and why he has misbehaved with Shamiki Maharshi. This
is the concern running in the mind of Parikshit and look at the greatness of
him. He is ready to submit his body to the snake ideally everyone will try to
create some protection mechanisms but Parikshit Maharaju instead of creating
Protection Mechanism he is telling that he is going to accept the death. This is
the Sankalpam (Determination) of the
God and no one can change the God Sankalpam. So I accept the sankalpam of God.
Generally who many people say
like this? Only Parikshit is saying this. Pariskhit is asking for the next life
which should always be in the feeling of SriHari. Every second I should be
roaming in the world of Vishnu. So all please bless me to get a life like that.
Not only this life, it could be any life. Parikshit after seeing Shukha Brahma,
asked a question to him. Please help me in knowing the information so that
there will not be any next life for me and should get Moksham. What is the
secret to achieve this? Please preach this.
Look at the compassion of Guru.
Shukha Brahma neither scolded Parikshit for his misbehaviour nor praised about
himself as he is a person who is going to stay in a place for not more than few
minutes. That is the greatness of Guru. Guru should see his students as the
trasure but not see the treasure of the students.
Shukha Brahma told to Parikshit
that " I will tell one point Pariskhit listen carefully, in olden days
there use to be a king named "Katvangudu" In order to help devathas
he has left the Earth in his Radham and went to Devalokham to fight with
Rakshasas. This battle has gone for a long time and finally Rakshasaa have lost
and Devathas have appreciated Katvangudu. And they decdied to grant him a wish
because of his efforts in the war to help Devathas. Katvangudu said, I do not
want any wish but could you please let me know how much life time is left over
for me? Immediately Devathas have calculated and told that you have one 1 Gadiyah(Hour). Fine I can fullfill my
life in that 1 Gadhiyah.
He immediately flied back to
Earth and informed the situation and sat in Dhaynamu. While doing Dhyanamu, he left
his body and attained Moksham. So Shukha Brahma said that a person in 1 Ghadiya
has attained Moksham and you have 7 days so why can’t you? See the greatness of
Guru. Guru should make his student comfortable.
Shukha Brahma told that God is
always there to listen to you provided you call him with Zeal and enthusiasm and
a confidence in him.
Parikshit represents the life
which loses in 7 days means he represents the entire universe as we have only 7
days in a week and if one has to leave the body it can happen in any one of
these 7 days but not the 8th day.
When Shuka Brahma is answering
means he is answering the entire world so become yourself as Parikshit and
grasp the secret.
Shukha Brahma puts a question
that will you be able to concentrate on God especially at older age? Generally look
at the tendency of the Human the only thing he would like to keep away is
spending his time in God. One will have hell lot of reasons. Why you did not
try this? And during the ending time what is the effort you have put in
thinking about the God? So during the old age time (start of age 50), one
character will automatically get embedded that is slef-praising but for getting
a point that the moment of death occurs nothing can stop it even whatever you
have earned cannot stop? Why this kind of behaviour? And this question was
raised by Parikshit and Shukha Brahma told that get aligned yourself to the
path of the God. Anything that saves is the feet of God. So feel and hold the
feet of God. Once you do this you will not get the death.
There arises question people who
have done the same have already faced death. Then why they did not escape from
death? Death is for the body not for the soul and soul gets Moksham. So now one
should get the knowledge that one is not the body one is the soul. How to get
this knowledge? This knowledge is attained through Guru's blessing and Guru
preaching. So where to go? Go in association with Guru and hold tightly the
feet of the God. If one is doing that then Kali cannot enter into you and Kali
cannot create the Vyamoham (fascination/love for senses). Lord is everywhere
but one is not able to visualize him because of Maya. When the Maya will be
removed, if one understands that it is Maya so react accordingly then the Maya
will be removed automatically. This is the magic. But how it can happen?
RamaKrishna Paramhamsa derived a beautiful derivation. "In olden
days one person was in an ashramam and in that ashramam there was only one
student and because of some emergency that student has to go on his personal
work and he left the ashramamu for few days. And know this person desperately
need a student and he was searching for student and found a goats man (mekalu
kasukune vady) and this person asked him whether will you be my student for few
days? He said that it is ok but I do not know what to do. This person said I
will get your head shaved and keep a small tail in it and put some bottu(red
dot) on your face and tie a Pancha(dhoti tied on your waist) and put thread
accros your chest" so that who ever see you in the ashram will visualize
you as a Brahmin kid. And what you have to do is keep your mouth shut and do
not utter any word if you speak, the truth will come out so just keep quiet. So
he said it is so easy and ok for me.
Do not think it is small
sometimes small things only will bring lot of problems.
So one day there was a visitor to
the ashramam and the visitor forgot his Kamandalamu(stick).
So visitor asked the boy to bring the Kamandalamu, unfortunately this boy does
not know what is Kamandalamu. Visitor asked for 5 times and got irritated and
said hey kid are you a goats men? The moment he heard this he ran away. why did
he runway? Because he is actually a goats men.
So the moment you know it is Maya
then the Maya will be removed from the head. Till then the Maya does not get removed.
The moment you get the blessing of God then soul will get freed from Maya. It
is like an image on the water wave, actually image does not move only the water
moves like that so when death arrives
soul should accept the truth the death is for the body.
So SreeHari is there everywhere
and he is everywhere and by knowing this and accept that the entire thing is
the Lord and all this is the magic of lord and if one accepts this truth then
the next minute one will get the Mokshamu. But Bhakthi will not stay so stable
and it is not as easy as told.
First do Namaskar to God, then he
will show you the way, then he will help in listening to the stories of the God.
One cannot listen to Bhagavatham so easily, unless and until a lot of punya has
been done. The moment one enters this
then there will be a big change in the life. When one says that everything is
the God then one magic happens in life that one will get automatically
habituated that everything is given by you and everything is you and everything
is running as per you. One will start feeling of everything as God. In dream
also the Manasu(mind) will fell
about the God, and this is the secret of Bhagavatham.
Manasu has the ability and the
same has the disability. The characteristic of the Manasu is if one ask it to
stay it will not stay. But if Bhakthi enters than Manasu will be with you.
Ramana Maharshi quotes an
example: lady taking water pot on her head and in between if she is hurted by a
stone/thorn on the walking path, she will not concentrate on the leg but she
first holds the pot so like that once Bhakthi enters than where ever the
concentration is Manasu will be in bhakthi and dedicate in the God.
Where it starts? It starts by
listening to the stories of the God. By this, one is feeding the input to the
Manasu and know you are making the habit to the Manasu. If one habits the
Manasu then it will listen to you if you do not then it will not, so it is the
not the mistake of the Manasu it is the mistake of one not providing a proper
guidance to the Manasu. This is the question whcih Shukha Brahma asks?
Every one will not get the
opportunity, only few will get it and this is as per the God's blessing and
wish. The problem of providing the input to Manasu was also faced by
Chathurmukha Brahma. The entire universe is filled with complete water and
Brahma has come for creation, but Brahma looked around and there is nothing and
all the place is surrounded by water. Brahma was worried on the creation as he
was the person who was allotted the job of creation. Meanwhile, Brahma heard a
sound " tapa tapa " means do thapasu means do dhyanam of the lord. In
this process of Dhyhanam Brahma has got the visualization of Lord Sreeman
Narayana. And he heard from Vedas regarding the process of the creation. From
then, the creation has started. Miracles happened in the process of creation.
Brahma has first created lives
named Sanaka, Sanatana, Sanandana and Sanatkumara and asked them to develop further creation (Grow Children). But they rejected
the request as they always wanted to be in the Dhyanam of Lord Sree Hari. They
are always be like children of 5 Years age and always in the Dhyanam(Meditation)
of Lord Sree Hari. Brahma got angry and from that anger one person named
"NeelaLohitudu" born and he has fallen down and started crying Brahma
told not to cry but the baby continued crying since he do not know what to do?
Brahma told not to worry I will direct on what to do. As this baby was born
crying he got another name "Rudrudu". All these creation is from the sankalpamu
(Thought) of Brahma. Brahma has given 8 wifes to Rudrudu and allotted 8 formats
for him and asked to do the creation. He created some Ganas but those people
started eating others. Then Brahma then told that do not do anything just sit
and perform Dhaynamu to Neelalohitah(Lord Shiva).
Brahma then started thinking, and
in thought process people evolved from different parts of Brahma
Rishis started coming. From
Brahma Nadi Narada has come out. From the back Adahrma and Death came and from his
front part Dharmamu has come out.
Brahma then thought that the
creation process using sankalpamu(thinking)
is not working. Brahma created a lady and suddenly Brahma got attracted to her
and the Rishis said this lady is your creation and how can you get attracted to
her? Brahma immediately said this is the characteristic of Universe (Shrusthi) so
from which body I have got the feeling of attraction I am going to leave that
body and Brahma has left that body. That body has become FOG (Poga Manchu). That’s
why Fog will not allow you to see the things properly it will blind you.
Brahma then decided to do
Maidhuna Srusthi (relation between Man and Woman) and he created one Man and
Women. Brahma is going to introduce the attraction of each other and these 2
people are going to do the further creation. These first people are Swayambhumanavu
and shatharupa. As son has to satisfy father, Swayambhumanavu came to Brahma
and said 5 kids priyavradhudu, uthanapadudu, aputhi, pasuthi, devahuthi born for
me. He asked what to do next, then Brahma told to perform the sankeertanah(prayers)
of Sree Hari, Yagnas, Yagas and do the ruling.
Swayambhumanavu said that for
doing such activities where is the Earth? Since the Earth was completely
drowned under water and sinked to the Pathalam(deepest portion of Universe).
Swayambhumanavu asked Brahma to lift the Earth so that all these activities
ordered by Brahma can happen and living things can run the show.
Brahma said who will bring the
Earth from the bottom and started thinking on this point. There is someone
driving this show and he is behind it and all are happening according to his view.
In that thinking, One small Varaha
murthy (Boar) has evolved from the Nose of Brahma and the moment it has
fallen down it started becoming bigger and started putting the footsteps and no
one has told anything to it.
All the Rishis over there were thinking about it and they have understood that this has been evolved from the Sankalpamu of Lord and he has come in the first Avatar to help the universe in order to live on the earth and he came down to bring up the earth to the top so that living things can survive. It has jumped into the water and started searching for earth and started coming up and down and in this search process the water has spilled in several places and Rushis have come to place so that this water will fall on them also and these Rishis started performing the Sthotras of Yagna Varaha Murthy from Sama Veda and Rig Veda. Why they stood like that since one cannot see the Lord with the Naked Eye and he has come down to save the Universe in a particular Avatar and started spilling the water. One should know, feel the same in the heart and should feel that the water is spilling on them. Thats why one should be thankful to Yagna Varaham since the Lord came in this format and brought up the earth and helped the universe to survive on the earth. At that same time one person has come and started fighting with the Yagna Varaham, and all others are performing Sthotras and this person started fighting with Yagna Varaham.

Who is this person? is a question
asked by Parikshit to Shukha Brahma and Shuka Brahma told I am looking for a
person who would be asking the questions like this. Sukha Brahma told I will
tell you know, listen carefully:
One day Kashyapa Prajapathi was
ruling his kingdom and he had 13 wifes. One day in the Asura Sandhya Vela (time gap between the Sunset to Moon rise), Kashyapa
prajapathi was doing his work. Basically Asura Sandya Vela is so sacred and 3
things should not be done during that time:
> Eat
> Sleep
> Do not perform Maidhunamu
(stri-purusha sanganam means physical relation)
In that time, one of his wife
(Dithi) came to him, and she said that Manmadha Bahnam has been used on her and
she cannot tolerate that feeling and as you are my Husband so please help me in
getting released from that feeling. And she said that there is a secret in
asking this thing from him. He asked what is the secret? She said, we all 13
were born for the same mother and the remaining 12 are having kids except me.
She is asking him to present the kids for her. He replied that, the person who
has the wife is the luckiest person because she is the one who will make him
feel relaxed when he is exhausted with work. So wife has a greatest role to
play and given the authority to run the house.
Because of this the Dharma
Shastram says that if a husband is doing a good work then 50% of the Punyamu will be credited into the wife’s
account and if the husband is doing a bad work then the 100% Papamu will be
with Husband only and even a bit of it will not be credited to wife’s account.
Why because, wife is helping husband by cooking, other activities and their by
stopping herself in performing the Pooja to the Lord and helping the husband to
run the life and also she is helping the husband in getting the relaxation when
he comes back from the work. That’s the reason of crediting 50% to wife account
for doing Punyamu.
Kashyapa prajapathi is happy to
get such a good wife but he said one thing that, this time is Asurah Sandyah
and during this time, Lord Shiva on Vrushaba Vahanamu will be roaming on Earth
and he will be accompanied by Bhutha Ganas and will be watching every life on
Earth. During that time if some living thing does a sin against Shiva, then
they will be subjected to face worst results. In that time even if Shiva is
ready to forgive but these Bhutha Ganas will not forgive. Shiva is a Maha Gyani
and one has to respect him at this time the above 3 things should not be
performed and your wish is one among them so please wait for some time
otherwise the result would be worst. So please wait for sometime and then I
will fullfill your desire. But Dithi did not listen to him and she forced him.
He did a namaskar and did the job and then contiued his work what he is has
left. After some time Dithi felt that she has done something which should not
have been done and she asked for forgiving her to Lord Shiva and Bhuta Ganas
but whatever is supposed to happen has happened and there is no meaning for
repenting, since during that time 2 Bhutha Ganas (Bhadra, Bhadrulu) have seen
the situation.
Later Dithi went to Kashyapa
Prajapathi and said that will the kids going to be born will create a problem
for us? Kashyapa Prajapathi said that Dithi you did not listen to the word and
the 2 Kids (Hiranyaksha, HiranyaKashyapa) who are going to be born for you will
be creating a Havoc for the Universe and they will cause lot of problems to
Rishis, Humans every one and finally they will be killed in the Hands of
SreeHari. Dithi after hearing those statements she cried like anything, and
asked is there any prevention for it. He said that, your Grandson (Prahaladh
for our reference) will be born for one the sons and he will be a great Bhaktha
of SreeHari and will bring good name to our family. This is because of your
regrets.
So Bhagavatham inaugurates the importance of time. That’s why one
should be performing the Dhayanam of Lord during AsuraSandhya. Otherwise worst
results would be occurring. This is the reason why usually Preaching’s would be
in the evening time.
Dithi decided to keep the Kids in
the Womb only otherwise if they come out then they will create a hell. She has
put them in the womb for 3 years but the light has started flowing from her
womb and this light started creating problem. So everyone went to Kashyapa
Prajapathi and said this light started occupying all the Lokhas, kashyapa
Prajapathi asked Dithi to give birth to them. Then the evolution of
Hiranyaksha, Hiranyakashyapa happened. This names were given by kashyapa
Prajapathi only as he already knows how these kids are going to behave. Hiranyaksha,
Hiranyakashyapa born and all the worst things started happening. Hiranyaksha
started becoming very big and always had a strong felling in him that he wanted
always to fight. He use to go to every one and ask to fight with him. Finally
he reached Varuna(stays in water) and asked him to Fight with him. Varuna said,
there is one person who is already decided to fight with you and in his hands
you will be killed. The time has come just go to the top of the ocean and see
he will be visible to you. How Varuna knows that it is already decided? There
is a story behind it. Look at the impartiality of Shiva and Keshava.
When Bhadra and Bhadrulu have
decided to give bad effects, at the same time in Vykuntham where Sree
MahaVishnu resides there were 2 Parshikas(watchmen
kind of description) standing at the 7th gate. After the 7th Gate, Sree
MahaVishnu will be seen. So these 2 Parshikas named Jaya, Vijaya were standing
and at that time and Sanaka, Sanandha have come till the the 7th gate and they
wanted to see the Sree MahaVishnu. The Greatness of Vykunthamu is that, the
walls of Vykunthamu are made with Jewels and Lakshmi Devi would be cleaning the
walls with the Lotus Flowers which she is holding in her Hands. Means, Maya
people, bad people, lying people, cannot enter those walls and people with pure
Bhakthi will be roaming in that places. Sanaka Sanandha were standing at the
7th gate to get the Darshan of SreeMahaVishnu. But these Jaya, Vijaya have
stopped them in the entering inside. Sanaka, Sanandha got angry and cursed
these 2 people. They cursed because, in Vikunthamu there are no bad people and
SreeMahaVishnu is the Lord who immediately blesses the people who came to him
and there are no visiting hours given by SreeMahaVishnu. But you 2 guys have
taken the liberty of stopping us, you are creating badness/differentiation/disturbances
so you are cursed to take life’s on earth. Know SreeMahaVishnu, Lakshmi came
outside and Sanak Sanandha Maharshi's were happy to see the Lord and did a
Namaskar to the Lord and they asked him to bless them. SreeMahaVishnu asked what
happned? Sanaka Sananda told that these Jaya, Vijayas have stopped and created
a news cense. So we have cursed them and as the Vykuntham is a sacred place and
they tried to create a nascence in such a holy place because of which we have cursed
them, if it is a mistake of cursing them please forgive us.
SreeMahaVishnu said that whatever
you did is correct. Since I am person who is always behind my Bhakthas and I
love to run behind my Bhakthas and help them when they are in trouble and
during that time if my hands come and struck them I am ready to cut these
Hands. So look at the compassion of the Lord and the way he blesses and runs
behind his Bhakthas. And you guys always be roaming in my Bhakthi and these
jaya, vijaya has done a big mistake by stopping you and because of these 2
people my name would be spoiled. So these 2 guys have committed a mistake and
have to fulfill the curse. So SreeMahaVishnu said, in the next minute they will
be born in earth and take the life of Rakshasas. Jaya, Vijaya have regretted
for the mistake they have done and asked for a relaxation.
SreeMahaVishnu said that, you
will take 3 lifes of Powerful Rakshasas and I will come in Avatar and kill you in
my hands and then I will bring you back to the Vykunthamu.
So first lifes are Hiranyakshudu
and HiranyaKashyapudu. Among these Hiranyakshudu is the person who is inviting
for the fight and he is the same person who was attacking the Yagna Varaha
Murthy which was discussed earlier when Yagna Vraha Murthy has arrived.
The moment one hears about the
epic of Yagna Varaha Murthy the Papamu which has be done in several crores of Life’s
would be burnt out. Why Because, Yagnamu has come in the form of Varaha Murthy.
Yagnam is based on Vedas so his body is based on the Veda and during Yagna the
process of doing Yagna and the utensils used in yagna are derived out of his
body. For example, one uses srukh and sruvam 2 sticks to pour Havisu and these
2 represents the thorns of Varaha murthy. Like that the comeplete set of Yagnamu
is the description of VarahaMurthy that’s why the name Yagna Varaha Murthy.
Varahamu means great auspicious day, the day one heard about
the Yagna VarahaMurthy, the sins that has been done in the past life’s would be
removed.
This way the Yagna Varaha Murthy
have started walking and making the sounds "Gur Gur" and the Rishis
started performing sthotras for it and this Yagna Varham started moving in the
search of Earth and stared smelling in the water since Earth has the
characteristic of smell. So YagnaVarah Murthy was smelling so that it can
identify the Earth. After some time, Yagna VarahaMurthy found and brought the
Earth to the top. Earth was very happy and at that time the birth of Narakasura
Happened which will be discussed in the later parts. Everyone was praying for
him and Yagna Varaha Murthy was blessing all, in the meantime the Rakshasa
Hiranyakshudu have come and started attacking this Yagna VarahaMurthy and there
was a biggest fight between them. One situation happened, where the Yagna
VarahMurthy weapon(Gadha) has fallen down because of the blow given by the
Hiranyakshudu. Hiranyakshudu replied that pick your weapon as I will not beat
the person without a weapon.
Yagna Varaha Murthy was very
happy about the Dharmamu which Hiranyakshudu has followed. Yagna Varaha Murthy
was happy by looking at the power of Hiranyakshudu since Hiranyakshudu was his
own person in the past. But everyone was feared and were saying, hey lord
please stop all the fun and kill this Hiranyakshudu and release him from his
curse so that 1 life will be over. Finally, Yagna Varaha Murthy have used the
Sudarshana Chakra then that Hiranyakshudu
has used a similar weapon but Yagna Varah Murthy have hold that weapon,
and break into peices and gave one slap to the Hiranyakshudu becasue of which
he has fallen down and Yagna varah murthy killed Hiranyakshudu with his thorns.
