Gruhasthaashramamu (Married Life) means how do you enjoy this and
what happens if something goes wrong here has been explained in this story. It
is the story of Kardhamaprajapathi, Devahuthi. Generally there would be a
confusion which ashramamu (Life) is
important?
Young, Marriage life, Sanyasi
life, Old-Age life. For suppose one has been doing the thapasyah for 10,000
years and Lord SreemanNarayana has come and if he asked for a good wife. People
will laugh. When the Lord has come you are asking for a good wife instead of
Mokshamu. Instead of doing thapasyah, look for few girls and finally one will
get a wife. For that why you need to do thapasyah for 10,000 years. But
Gruhasthashramamu will start with entry of wife. If wife is not good then the
life is gone.
Brahma has created some
Prajapathis among them one is Kardhamaprajapathi. Brahma called him and asked
him that still creation has to continue with the maidhuna srusthi. For that to
happen, find one good wife who is suitable for you. This is my wish.
For external view, this is the
story of KardhamaPrajapathi. Internally this is in-general happening in our
lifes.
> Debt to father will be
cleared only when one gets married and give birth to children then some portion
of the debt can be cleared (Pitru Runam --- runam ela theeruthundhi, biddalunu
kanali, like that pitru runam will be cleared in Telugu).
Kardhamaprajapathi is great knowledgeable
person and he wanted to fulfill the wish of his father, so he went and did
thapasyah for 10,000 years near the bank of river Saraswathi. After 10,000
years Lord SreemanNarayana has come. Generally, when the Lord has presented
himself after doing tapasyah for such a great time, whether Bhaktha (Devotee) will have happy tears
or the Lord will see the happy tears? We expect an answer that as Bhaktha which
is a general tendency. Here the happy tears were seen in the Lord because Lord
was happy to have such a bhaktha whose wish is to get a good wife and for that
he did a tapasyah for such a big period. Those tears have fallen on the bank of
river saraswathi and small ponds has been created and this sarovaram (Pond) is called "Bindu sarovaram". Lord has
seen lot of people and why he is tears when he seen KardhamaPrajapathi? This
history will be known if Kardhamaprajapathi speaks.
Kardhamaprajapathi says that, oh
Lord you are in the format of time (Kala swaroopam), and it cannot be stopped
by anyone nor it listens to anyone. If someone asks to wait for a minute then
it does not stop or wait and it does not have any indifferences with anyone. It
does not have enemies nor fight with any one. In the time period, life’s will
come and life’s will go. Time will not stop because someone has come nor
someone has gone. Time does not have happiness or unhappiness. I want to reach
you being in the presence of Time period. For that valuble Bhakthi (Devotion) should be there, along with that valuable
Bhakthi should have to be in Gruhasthshramamu and being in Gurahsthasharamamu
enjoy the Bhogamu (happiness) and
that Bhogamu has to be according to the rules as prescribed by Vedas. After enjoying
that Bhoghamu, Vairagyam should be attained.
For example, we have a road on
which different vehicles are moving on and if one walks on the road then an
accident will occur. For that, what elderly people have done is they have
constructed a small path on the road side which is in a bit height and on that
people who does not have vehicle can walk which is called footpath. Like that,
one who does not have a vehicle has to walk on road, and while walking should
be safe on road. Otherwise if you walk on road without walking on footpath then
accident will happen. Similarly one has to be in Gruhasthshramamu, then enter
it and whatever the Bhogamu given by Vedas has to be enjoyed.
Basically, boy can full fill only
his family side only but Girl will full-fill both sides of the family.
In panigrahanam, palms and
fingers of hands of Bride and Groom are touched then a Girl baby and Boy baby
will happen. If only Fingers touches Girl babies will be born. Only palms
touches Boy babies are born. That’s why, during panigrahamantram both Palms and
fingers should touch gently. That is the power of PanigrahaMantram. Because in
everything there is Dharmamu.
Dhramecha, Ardhecha. Kamecha,
Nathicharamai --- She is the Dharma pathni. In Ardhamu you should not cross.
Means from the heart the light of Male starts and it cannot be saved anywhere
else and should be saved only in the wife. That is the kamamu falling under the
priciples of Dharmamu. Ardhamu means his light will come from his wife in the
form of kid. And I will not cross this lady and she is the only lady for me. This
is the promise which is taken by the girl’s father then only the girl will be
given for betterment of the boy’s life and if misbehaved then the girl will be
taken of.
What wife should follow?
Husband has to run according to
Dharmamu. In that path wife has to walk. Both should complement each other and
should be in the path of Dharmamu. In this path who are the enemies? Enemies
are organs. Vyragyam cannot come on its own. One should do a self-questioning,
what am I doing? It will come through self-check and introspection.
For example, Manasu (Mind) asks for Bajji, and makes a feeling to eat Bajji. The
Mind which is the one that is asking to feed Bajji, feels happy on eating the
first one the moment it feels unhappy it will ask not to feed, otherwise it
will vomited out.
Firstly, who asked first
Bajji--Manasu secondly, who asked to stop the with last Bajji -Manasu. First
Bajji gave happiness and last one gave unhappiness and asks to stop. After 2
days again it will say for Bajji. So Manasu uses Ruchi (taste), Vasana
(Smell) as parameters.
Manasu will habituate to taste (Ruchi),
keep it inside and will use the Vasana (smell) to push it outside and shall
make mind to rotate between these two. If one identifies that “For some-time
whichever is said as unhappiness is not unhappiness and whatever is said to be
happiness for some-time is not happiness”.
For example unhappiness will be
there when one is thinking on about it, meanwhile if someone come and say
something then the same will be in happiness and forgets about unhappiness. So
are the Happiness and unhappiness are truth's no. These are the 2 things
created by Manasu as virtual images. Beyond this there is something. What is
the actual happiness which can never exhaust and does not have limit for such
happiness. If one leaves the virtual happiness and enters the actual happiness
then that is Vayragyam. Remaining all things are virtual images. If one
identify this logic, than Vyragyam is attained.
From where this Vyragyam comes.
It should come from Bhogamu only. Bhogam can give 2 things rogam(disease) or vyragyam and this depends on your way of walking
in the life. Lot of people are in Gruhsthshramamu, but why some are succeded
and some failed. Why so?
It depends on one’s viewing angle.
If viewed as “Virtual happiness is not the real one and it is all Maya then it
leads to Yogam which further leads to Vyragyam. If viewed as Virtual happiness
as actual happiness thats why failure and leads to rogam. “
By looking at Kardhamaprajapathi,
SreemanNarayana is in tears? Sreemannarayana knows, what is tears and what is
Maya. SreemanNarayana know what is the
wish that is going to be asked by the Kardhamaprajapathi. One person is doing
thapasyah for 10000 years in order to demonstrate the Gruhasthshramau and show
how to make life successful. It is not just preaching the Veda, it is the demonstration
using live example. A person who want to inaugurate the greatness of wife is
standing before me. This is why SreemanNarayana was in happy tears.
SreemanNarayana asked
Kardhamaprajaathi what is your wish? Kardhamaprajapathi said Brahma has given
life to me asked me to do the creation. I have to fulfill the wish of my
father, so in order to full-fill it I need one good wife, who will help me in
achieving it.
who can get a good wife for a
boy? It is the father only since fathers light is in the format of son. Fathers
knows what type of girl to be brought for the son. Father can identify the girl
suitable for the boy. Know SreemnaNarayana is the father (since there is no
difference between Brahma and SreemanNarayana) he has to identify the girl for
Kardhamaprajapathi. Look at the situation how Dharmamu is getting inaugrated.
It is not the inability of him, his father has to tell him who is that eligible
girl to marry him. That’s why, SreemanNarayana was in happy tears.
Brahma told me to enter
Gruhasthshramamu but did not mention who is the girl? So in order to identify
the girl it is the responsibility of my father. So please tell me who that
eligible girl is and make my life beautiful. That’s why I am asking this, not
for the Mokshamu. So please do not laugh, for asking a girl instead of
Mokshamu. In the time period, Bhogamu will spoil the life. The remedy for it is
getting a good wife who can complement and make the life succeded.
Lord is present in all formats,
inside and outside. The process of making a request to the Lord to be seen in a
format is called Thapahsu. Lord told that I am happy for your act and wish. I
have already decided a wife for you. Day after tommorow, swayambhumanavu is
coming here. He has got 3 daughters (akuthi, devahuthi, prasuthi). Prasuthi is
married to Daksha Prajapathi. Devahuthi is the right girl for you. He will ask
you that he want to marry his daughter with you. Accept the proposal and marry
her. As the Lord have arrived on the Garuda Vahanam and started flying. During
his take off, when Garuda has flapped his wings, 2 sounds were heard by
Kardhamaprajapathi. These 2 sounds are Sama Vedam and Rig Vedam.
Garudavahamanam means vedam only.
How many people will get such an
opportunity?
Kardhamaprajapathi was sitting
and the time has come and swayambhumanavu has come in his vehicle while holding
bow and arrows along with his wife shatharupa and daughter devahuthi.
Kardhamaprajapathi is younger in age compared to swayambhumanau but because of
being elder in knowledge swayambhumanau does a namaskaram to
Kardhamaprajapathi. Kardhamaprajapathi said that you being Raja and in-order to
set up dharmamau you are travelling with your powerful and fearful bow have
come to my ashramamu and this place is the one in which we do tapasyah and
there is nothing here to set up Dharmamau and you have come here for something
else along with you wife and daughter, so please do not worry and tell happily
without any fear. Indirectly he made the line clear. Since someone comes to a
great yogi and offers the daughter to be accepted as wife will not look good.
So you can tell what your wish is.
Swayambhumanavu says that there
is nothing great about us being a king ruling the universe, holding a pwerful
bow for doing all these things the energy has come from shoulders of the Lord.
So it is the greatness of the Lord not us. Look at the discussion, it speaks only
about the lord. Swayambhumanau said that, I have 3 daughters and this is
devahuti and she is the lady who is suitable for you for becoming your wife.
Why she is suitable because, Narada whenever came to our palace, he use to
speak about the characteristics of the Kardhamaprajapathi and after listening
to your characteristics my daughter wanted to marry you and become your wife.
So please accept my daughter as your wife and make our life succeeded. He did
not say anything about the greatness of his daughter. She is the beautiful lady
but he did not speak anything else instead he said characteristics. So external
beauty does not mind it is the Character which makes the life beautiful.
So look how beautiful the
conversation are going.
Kardhamaprajapathi, says that I
know about the beauty of your daughter. One day during full moon day when you
daughter was playing near the pond with her friends. While playing, she was
standing and writing on the earth with her leg. Meanwhile one Gandharvah who is
flying from the top named Viswavasudu have seen her and did not thought how
beautiful she is, and by looking at her beauty he was in giddiness and fallen
on earth. Such a beautiful girl is your daughter and you have hidden this
scenario. You have hidden this scenario because external beauty does not matter
and should not be told. But I am telling about the beauty of her. And how did
she get it? She got it from the blessing of LakshmiDevi. So shall I say one
thing, who has got the Lakshmi blessings can only marry your daughter. It is
not that your daughter is happy about my characteristics.
It is the blessing of Lakshmidevi
on me to get such a girl. So look at the complementation of each other. And the
person who has decided this is not you or me it is the Lord SreemanNaraya who
has made this decision. This is the first marriage decided by elders, which is
the marriage of Kardhamaprajapathi and Devahuthi. Elder’s are none other than Lord
SreemanNarayana.
Know can they fullfill their
lifes? Yes since there was a wish granted by Lord SreemanNarayana that he will
be born as his son.
Finally the twist is that,
Swayambhumanau did not give his daughter. After telling all these conversations
swayambhumanavu looked at his daughters face and she was happy. But still did
not give his daughter. Swayambhumanavu took the hand of shatharupa and took her
aside and asked whether this is acceptable for you? Means this is the relation
between the husband and wife. Everything will be told to wife does not mean it
is the submission, it is told to her because she won his heart. She is sitting
in his heart and won him with her love. That’s why wife is not only for work
she serves the husband in many ways.
Shatharoopa agreed to the
Marriage and next minute their marriage was held. Do you know who has given
Presents? Not father-in-law it is the mother-in-law who has given the presents.
This is called the affection. Why she has given because, know she is going to
take the position of mother means she is also like his mother and he is like
her son not son-in-law.
That’s why Madhuparkam is given
by Mother-in-law during the marriage. It is not for fun saying that from now
onwards you can treat me like your mother and I will treat you like my son.
The presents given by Shataroopa
to Kardhamprajapathi were all playing items. Why this because while playing the
tiredness will be removed. Kardhamaprajapathi was very happy. Swayambhumanavu
was in deep depression since he has to leave his daughter. Barhishmathi is the
place where the Swayambhumanavu was ruling. Why Barhismathi name because in the
Yagna Varaha murthi avatar, Varaha was searching for the Earth his hairs have
fallen on the earth and that hairs have turned out to be grass and using that
grass only Swayambhumanavu use to perform the Yagnas and Yagas. That’s why the
name Barhishmathi.
Time was passing, and Devahuthi
being a beautful lady was serving the Husband. What husband is doing?
Kardhamaprajapathi was doing tapasyah. So when husband is doing tapasyah what
wife should do? So what Husband is doing she was doing the same and whatever is
needed for his tapasyah she was providing. So a lady who has been in a rich
life and served by many people, is now spending her life in an ashramamu and
without any facilities. She has become thin. One day, he woke up from his
tapasyah and saw devahuthi. He was shocked by looking at her. Once upon a time
I have described her beauty and for me she served a lot and she served me for
my tapasyah and sacrificed herself. So Devahuthi, I am happy about your work.
So what is first? Dharmamu. Serving the Lord. Both have become experts in that.
He said what is the wish that has to be fulfilled by me? She said, that I am
your wife and I want to become mother so please bless me and full-fill my wish
in becoming mother. He said ok.
He said that, I am looking like a
person sitting in ashram and performing the tapasyah. I have the bhogham which
are not even possessed by the great kings and do you know how I have got them?
He said that, everytime I served the lord, because of which I have got yoga
shakthi granted by the lord and because of that yoga shakthi I have got all
these Bhogas and these cannot be even seen by any other. And I am giving you
the DivyaDrushti to see these Bhogams. So please see these bhogams with the
Divyadrusthi.
She was shocked and saw a big
palace, the palace had lot of rooms. The pillars were made with the thorns of
elephants. Beautiful dresses, Gold ornaments, drawing rooms, visitors place,
nice kitchen, nice plane and one beautiful interior in that plane. Nice ponds
and pools and nice smell. She was shocked and stunned.
Kardhamaprajapathi told her to look
at the Bindusarovaram and take bath in it and come. She took bath and after
that bath she has become much more beautiful than she was earlier. There were some
1000 dasis were standing there, to help her and in decorating her and make her look
beautiful. They brought one mirror and shown to her how she is? The moment she
saw her face she immediately brought the thoughts of her husband. The next
minute Kardhamaprajapathi was in front of her. Then he took her in that plane.
That plane is an invisible plane which cannot be seen by anyone and can fly
above any lokham. And it has got all facilities. They were roaming in such a
plane, enjoying the time, and finally it has landed on the "Meru
parvatham", and they went inside the meru parvatham. It is one place where
all the devathas, yaksharas, gandarvas, kinneras, kimpurshas will come and
rotate around the meru parvatham.
For several years they were
enjoying their life. In this enjoyment they have given birth to 9 daughters.
After the birth of 9th daughter, Kardhamaprajapathi asked Devahuthi how much
time did we spent? She said it has
passed like a minute. And the elder daughter has become young and getting ready
for marriage. So the time will be like that for the one who is in bhogamu.
Kardhamaprajapathi, was having the Bhogamu in his heart that this is not going
to be there always and is it not enough. But he did not say anything outside to
his wife.
One day, he went and told to
devahuthi that these things will not uplift the life so I am going to take snaysamu
and leave this place and I told to your father at the time of marraige that I
am going to be with devahuthi till the children arrive. Know we have 9
daughters, so I am taking the Sanyasam and leaving. Why because vayragyam has
become strong in his heart and always he was examining that this is not the
actual bhogamu. That’s why he has got the capacity to go and take the
sanyasamu. Look how Kardhamaprajapathi have used the Gruhasthshramamu.
She said that, what a miracle, we
did all the things together. You got the ability to take the sanyasam and
vyragyam is acheived by you but I am not able to achieve it. Being a follower of
you, I will not stop you, but I have a wish, you have given 9 daughters and
they have to be married to eligible guys. Being a lady I cannot do it and I do
not know anything, and suddenly if you leave I will not be able to do it so
please grant me a boy and leave. And that boy should be show me the path to
attain the knowledge and should not push me back again into the problems. He
should take the responsibilities of these girls and help them in getting
married. Kardhamaprajapathi appreciated her and said that he will grant the
Kid.
Lord SreemanNarayana entered as
light of Kardhamaprajapathi into the womb of Devahuthi and came out as Kapila
Bhagawan. When Kapila bhagwan came out, Brahma came and said that being my son
you have fullfilled all the jobs and attained the vayragyam being in
Grushasthshramamu, getting ready to become sanyasi and achieved the Narayana as
you son on the wish of you wife. So I am very much happy to have a son like you
and you have made my life sweeter. Your wife will attain Mokshamu by serving
the Kapila Bhagwan and you will also attain Mokshamu by becoming Sanyasamu.
When god itself has born in your
house why snayasamu? Sanyasamu is that there is nothing called my house or I,
it is all lord. After Brahma left, Kardhmaprjapathi was thinking about the
marriage of these
9 girls and asked Brahma with
whom these girls have to be married? Since Brahma is the elder of the house so
look at the respect of Kardhamaprjapathi. Brahma told that marry these 9 girls
to 9 maharshis.
Marichi Maharshi -- Kala
Athri Maharshi -- Anasuya
Angirasanaku Maharshi -- Shradha
Pulasyunaku -- Haveerbhavu
Pulahunaku -- Gati
Krathuvunaku -- Kriya
Rughuvu --Kyathi
Vashisthunaku -- Arundathi
Adhurvunaku --Shanthi
After marrying the 9 girls,
Kardhamaprajapathi went inside and saw the boy and performing the sthothram
before leaving to sanyasamu. As he knows he is the LordSreemnaNarayana and born
for the betterment of my life. And you born as son so that I can be relieved
from PitruRunam. There is not limit for your compassion. Lord told that
previously I have born on earth and preached the vedantham named
"Sankyamu"(Sankyamau- means telling that thatvamu (characteristics) and
how many types of it) but the universe have forgot it. Again for preaching the
Sankyamu, I have born as your son as I have given you the word that I will born
as your son. I have kept my word. So you can go to Sanyasamu and finally you
will achieve Mokshamu.
Kardhamaprajapathi said my wife, who
is your mother has to be make her life better. He said definitely I will take
care on that, you do not worry on that.
Kapila Maharshi, has become
younger and was doing thapasyah in "bindusarovaram". All the bhogas
given by Kardhamaprajapathi were still residing there but Devahuthi identified
that this is nothing and she got vyragyam. Devahuthi went to Kapila Maharshi
and said that I have fallen in that Bhogham and could not identify the truth
but your father being on the same page, has identified the truth and took the
sanyasam an made a meaning to his life. So please preach me something which will
make my life meanigful. For that, Kapila Maharshi told the Kapila Gita.
He said that mother, there are
lot of life’s are there and in that Human life is highly prominent one please
listen carefully. Among all these things the one who have got life is rich one (example:
Trees). But along with life the one which has got touch sense is the rich one (example:
animal) since when you cut a tree even after having life it cannot respond. But
a buffalo when has got some itching feeling it will go and crush onto a tree
and then it will lose that feeling. So the life which can live and touch sense
is greater. Among that the life which has got taste is greater life. Along with
smell is greater life (eg: bees). Among that the life’s which can identify the
sound are greater. Among that the one with more legs is greater (it is called
sharabhamu with 8 legs). Among that the one with 4 legs and got sadhuthvam (cow,
sheep, goat). Among that Human with 2 legs is greater but to get spoiled there
will be a reason and what could be the reason behind it? Please catch it
carefully.

As this Sankyam, Kapila said that
actually one thing which is present is the Lord only. And he is called as
Purushudu. where does he stay? In the heart. In order to not to understand him,
what he will do is, he will create a thing with 3 characteristics called Maya.
From these Maya, 24 thatvas (That’s why it is called Sankyamu) have come out:
5 - Pancha bhuthas
5- Karmendriya(legs, hands,mouth,excretion
parts)
5 - Gnanedriya(eyes,
ears,nose,skin,tongue)
5 - Links to connect the external
pancha bhuthas with these gnanedriyas (seeing, hearing, smelling, feeling,
tasting)
1 - Manasu
1 - bhudhi
1 - chithamu
1 - Ahankaramu (this is the
biggest maya)
He will be hidden behind all
these things. One cannot identify him and will be running behind saying that it
is “ I
am ” and will not identify the actual person who is running the show
and once the time comes all these days which made you fell that it is “ I
am “ and will not allow you to look into the Lord and will start slowly
stop functioning and finally the soul will not understand from where to leave
since at that time, the representatives of Yama will come and firstly they will
tell you the list of the mistakes that have been committed. When the Lord have
given this body and organs to identify him and do good job instead one had
performed all the sins and will get the punishments for the mistakes that had
been committed. So mother if you do not want to face such a situation, then what
you should do is:
One cannot see the lord and it is
very difficult to see him for that he will come in the form of an idol and keep
that idol image in your heart and always serve him with happiness and submit
your manasu (mind) on the feet of the lord. And submit yourself and believe him
and he will show the compassion and save you always and make your manasu as a
bee that is rotating around him. That’s why, the idol worship has come. The
moment you start habituating this to the Manasu then it will automatically catch
the idol and finally you will see the idol around the world. And you will not
have love the organs and always get in connection with the people who always
speak about the idol. Then you will reach the Idol. If you can do it then
automatically things will happen and you will attain the Mokshamu.
If you do not do so, then you
will be repeating the cycle of Life and Death and will never come out of that
cycle. After telling this, Kapila Bhagawan has left and Devahuthi have followed
the same and converted her Bhakthi towards the lord and finally attained the
Mokshamu.
In this way, being in
Grushastshramamu, Kardhamaprajapathi and Devahuthi have attained the Mokshamu.
